Our mission:
The main objective of the Quebec Falconry Centre is
to inform people about the art of falconry and birds of prey
through public shows. Our mission combines the breeding of raptors
in captivity with the teaching of the art of falconry. We provide
training to beginners and experienced falconers for a variety
of falconry pursuits such as: falconry, birdshow or wildlife
control purposes. Falconry is a noble sport that a falconer
can practice with all respect due to the environment.
Hunting is the main goal in falconry. The pursuit of wild quarry
with a bird specially trained to do so.
• To date, we have provided instruction to people from
a diverse background including: wildlife officials, rehabilitators,
teachers, veterinarians, recreational falconers and to many
others with an interest in this ancient sport.
• Our courses surpass all provincial
and national falconry regulations.
• We are devoted to the excellence
and tradition of falconry and hawking.
• We sponsor all apprentice falconers.
• The centre is about 30 minutes drive from Quebec airport.
